About Us
Built by a small team, for small teams.
DoneDone started with a simple idea: work software shouldn’t make your work more complicated.
In 2008, DoneDone began as an in-house solution at a small agency that needed a better way to track issues and manage client work. The tools available at the time were either too complicated or simply didn’t fit the way the team worked. So they built something simpler.
Eight months later, DoneDone was ready for more than just one team. In April 2009, it officially launched to the world. Six weeks later, the first paying customer signed up.
Since then, thousands of organizations have used DoneDone to manage millions of tasks, issues, bugs, emails, and support requests.
More than 17 years later, the idea behind DoneDone is still simple: give small teams the tools they need to manage their work, without making the work more complicated
The DoneDone Philosophy
Small as a service.
We are a lean team and that’s how we like it. We don’t have investors or shareholders and we’re not seeking funding. It’s because of our size that we’re able to stay nimble, flexible, and independent. When you reach out to us for support, we’re the ones who get back to you. We believe this makes our service better and keeps our customers happy.
Simple is hard.
Instead of offering the most, DoneDone offers what we believe are the most essential features. We work hard to make the product as simple and accessible as possible. And that’s something our customers really appreciate.
