For the past few weeks we’ve been preparing you for the New DoneDone. This week we want to focus on just a handful of the many improvements we’ve designed into the New DoneDone. Besides the major visual overhaul, the team’s been touching up and refining all the little things. Here’s the top 5:
Last fall, we released Public Issues – a new way to gather feedback and issues from your customers and users without the need to create DoneDone profiles. Soon, you’ll be able to filter issues from the Issue List Dashboard by All, Public Only, and Private Only.
Filter by Issue Type
When you access the Companies & People section, you’ll find a new dashboard just like the Issue List Dashboard but listing all the people on your account instead of all the issues.

In the New DoneDone, you’ll add screenshots right where you reference them. In the current version of DoneDone, it can be pretty easy to forget to add your attachments because the button is much further down the page, but now when you say “see attached,” just go ahead and attach the image right then and there.
Attach files right when you mention them.
Instead of a generic silhouette of a man, we wanted to be more inclusive and more personal. A lot of DoneDone users never upload an avatar, so for those that don’t, the new avatar features the user’s initials.
Custom default avatars
In the New DoneDone, it’s easier than ever to skim what’s changed with your issues. The blue dot indicates an issue you’re working on has been updated since your last visit.
Simple indicator for unread issue updates
We’re just days away from releasing the New DoneDone. These are just five of what feels like hundreds of small improvements we’ve made. To read more about the New DoneDone follow the tag. Any questions or comments, get in touch by email or on Twitter.
